The Vision

Every weekend  over a million Australian men, women, boys and girls play football. Most are
14 years old or younger and the biggest growing sectors are young girls - as  well as their over-35 dads! It's not just a winter sport either; indoor soccer or 'futsal' is  the fastest growing summer sport in Australia.

They are all wild about 'the beautiful game' which is - by and large - scandal-free, healthy, non-violent and offers great role-models aplenty both locally and overseas.  

They cheer their friends and siblings. They cheer their local team and their State team in the national A-League. 

They cheer their favourite UK, Italian, Spanish or other world club team. They cheer our national women's team the Matildas and the
youthful Joeys.  

And, this year, they will all go beserk with pride and passion as the national men's team, the Socceroos, take their place on the biggest stage of all, the  2010 World Cup Finals in South Africa.  It's an event that rivals even the Olympics for international sporting interest and media coverage. 

Together with Australia's already enthusiastic music and  theatre-going public as well as families participating in  other sports - all of those kids and all of those parents present a huge potential audience for this show!

Every Single Saturday - with its laughter, tears, romance and reconciliation - more than any show in recent memory - has the potential to tap into the Aussie spirit of competition and 'a fair go'. It will touch every audience... and leave them standing and cheering!
